Day 1 Lima

Day 2 Cusco (1B)
Fly to Cusco. Free time to explore the city's museums and local markets. Optional city tour or free time for individual exploration.
Day 3 Sacred Valley/Ollantaytambo (1B,1L)
Full-day guided tour of the Sacred Valley and Ollantaytambo ruins along with a visit to a Planeterra-supported women's weaving project in a local community. Visit the Planeterra-supported Sacred Valley Community Restaurant in Huchuy Qosco, an indigenous village, for lunch. Shopping opportunities at a local market.
Days 4 Aguas Calientes (1B)
Enjoy a scenic train journey to the mountain town of Aguas Calientes. Optional visit to local hot springs and shopping opportunities. Those who have pre-booked and purchased the '1-day Inca Trail' hike will disembark the train at 104 km and trek to the Sun Gate for the first glimpse of Machu Picchu before re-joining the group at Aguas Calientes for the night.
Day 5 Machu Picchu/Cusco (1B)
Enjoy a guided tour of the Machu Picchu ruins. Optional visit to the Inca Bridge before returning to Cusco by train.
Day 6 Cusco (1B)
Free day in Cusco. Active options include whitewater rafting, horseback riding and mountain biking.
Day 7 Cusco/Lima (1B)
Transfer to the airport and fly back to Lima for a free evening.
