All countries require travellers to have a valid passport (with a minimum 6 months validity). Please note that upon arrival by air to Antananarivo, Madagascar, some nationalities can obtain a visa for free and some have to pay USD80 provided you are not staying in the country for longer than 30 days (valid for those who would be permitted a Madagascar visa while still in their own country). This information is accurate at the time of writing. Though as fees and policies can change, we highly recommend that you contact your local embassy or consulate for the most up-to-date visa requirements, or see your travel agent. It is your responsibility to have the correct travel documentation.
If you’re eligible for a free visa on arrival the visa process takes about 1hr-1.5hrs.
