After months of lead-up with smaller festivals throughout the country, enjoy the culmination of Argentina's wine culture in Mendoza with the final and most important days of the National Wine Festival while travelling on this culinary adventure from Santiago to Buenos Aires.

    Day 1 Santiago

    Arrive at any time.

    Day 2 Santiago (B)

    Full day tour to wineries in the Maipo Valley area. Free evening in Santiago.

    Day 3 Mendoza (B)

    Cross the Andes by bus into Argentina and arrive at Mendoza, in the heart of the wine growing region. Arrive just in time for the culmination of the "Vendimia Festival," where months of preparation and hard work on in the vineyards lead to this great celebration and blessing of the year's harvested grapes.

    Day 4 Mendoza (B,L)

    Included "Tierra del Malbec" full day tour of 3 different wineries in the country's premiere wine-growing region with an included lunch. Finish the day with a visit to an Olive Oil processing facility before returning to Mendoza.

    Day 5 Mendoza (B)

    Experience the "Carrusel," a procession of Gauchos and dancers from different regions in traditional dress. Free afternoon before the evening "Acto Central" or Central Act of the festivities, at the Greek Theatre where the Queen of Vendimia will be selected.

    Day 6 Mendoza (B,L)

    Morning city tour of Mendoza before heading out to a ranch at the base of the Andes for an included cooking class. Learn how to cook an "asado" or traditional Argentinean barbecue.

    Day 7 Mendoza (B)

    Free day in Mendoza to choose from a variety of optional activities, including hiking and biking or visit more wineries.

    Days 8-9 Buenos Aires (2B)

    Fly to Buenos Aires. Included tour to a Planeterra project outside of the city to see the empowerment and apprenticeship of youth through the culinary arts and food preparation. Free time to explore the many attractions of Buenos Aires or take an optional city tour. Optional tango show and dinner.

    Day 10 Buenos Aires (B)

    Depart at any time.
