Day 1 Nairobi

Arrive at any time.

Day 2 Arusha (1B,1L,1D)

Cross through the semi-arid lands of the Masai people on to Arusha

Day 3 Serengeti National Park (1B,1L,1D)

Change over to 4x4 safari vehicles and enjoy a game drive en route to our camp site in the central Serengeti.

Day 4-5 Ngorongoro Crater/Marangu (2B,2L,2D)

Search for game in 4x4 safari vehicles while in the crater, then continue onto Marangu, one of the popular starting points for those departing to climb Mt Kilimanajaro.

Day 6-9 Dar Es Salaam/Zanzibar (4B,1L,1D)

Travel down to the Indian Ocean. Embark on a guided tour of a spice plantation. Option to visit Arab residences, places, museums, historic sites, go snorkeling and scuba diving, and relax on the beach.

Day 10-11 Ruaha River/Iringa (2B,2L,2D)

Ferry to Dar es Salaam. Continue to the Ruaha River in Ruaha National Park.

Day 12-14 Lake Malawi (3B,3L,3D)

Relax on the shores of "the lake of stars", visit various lakeside camps. Option to go for walks, snorkeling, village tours, or a fishing trip.

Day 15-17 Senga Bay/Chipata/Lusaka (3B,3L,3D)

Experience another border crossing and the vastness of Africa during these driving days. Spot zebra and giraffe while camping on a private game farm and visit craft stalls and markets for typical textiles and baskets.

Day 18-21 Livingstone (4B,1L)

Travel to Zambia. Option to visit Victoria Falls, and enjoy white-water rafting, canoeing, elephant-back safari, fly over the falls, and much more!

Day 22-23 Chobe River/Gweta (2B,2L,2D)

Camp under ancient baobab trees. Opt for a boat cruise or game drive in Chobe NP.

Day 24-25 Maun/Okavango Delta (2B,2L,2D)

Enjoy game walks, traditional mokoro (dug-out canoe) excursions and birding. Learn the ways of the bush from your local polers.

Day 26-28 Ghanzi/Windhoek/Waterberg Plateau (3B,3L,2D)

Visit the Kalahari Desert, meet the local San Bushmen and opt to go on a walk to learn survival skills. Options to explore city centre of Windhoek and go on a forest walk in Waterberg Plateau Game Park.

Day 29-31 Etosha National Park/Damaraland (3B,3L,3D)

Game drives in Etosha National Park in overland truck.

Day 32-33 Swakopmund (1B,1L)

Meet our local friends and explore the back streets and local culture on a guided interpretive walk through a township. Choose among sandboarding, a dolphin cruise, skydiving, quad biking or a Living Desert tour and other optional activities.

Day 34-37 Namib Desert/Fish River Canyon/Gariep River (4B,4L,4D)

Explore Sossusvlei Dunes, option to climb the spectacular Dune 45. Enjoy the sunset at Fish River Canyon. Option to ride a canoe at the scenic Gariep River.

Day 38-39 Cederbeg/Cape Town (2B,2L,1D)

View dramatic Western Cape scenery, camp on a local farm, and opt to sip a local wine. Explore vibrant Cape Town by night, and try out one of the many restaurants at the V&A Waterfront.
