So get ready to pedal, paddle and hike your way through the vineyards and wilderness of Wine Country, USA on an adventure that will keep you active, sampling local delicacies and maybe even a bit tipsy. Indulge in wine tastings, take in options like horseback riding or hot air balloons, and spend your nights in comfortable hotels. Like a full-bodied Napa vintage, this trip is sure to please.

Day 1 San Francisco (1D)

Meet at 8am in San Francisco for a fascinating pedal along the city's scenic bike trail. Take in Fisherman’s Wharf's seafood stalls, sea lions at Pier 39 and even pedal across the Golden Gate Bridge with a view of Alcatraz. Hike Point Reyes' Chimney Rock Trail and visit the famous lighthouse before heading to charming Healdsburg, with its hundred plus wineries and gourmet cuisine, for a group dinner.

Day 2 Russian River (1B,1L)

Morning transfer to Sonoma's Russian River for a half-day kayaking tour among the ancient redwoods. Keep an eye out for otters, heron, osprey and turtles and relax on the riverbanks with a picnic. Afternoon visit to the famous Korbel Champagne Cellars.

Day 3 Calistoga/Napa Valley (1B,1L)

Biking off the beaten path through the breathtaking Napa Valley to Calistoga. Along the way, visit charming vineyards and enjoy a delicious wine country lunch of local produce and artisanal cheeses and breads.

Day 4 Calistoga (1B,1L)

Free morning in sophisticated and friendly Calistoga. Relax and rejuvenate in renowned spas, discover world-class wines, explore artisan shops. Afternoon excursion to Napa's Bothe State Park's Redwood Trail to enjoy a hike and a picnic of wine and cheese, before visiting a local biodynamic winery.

Day 5 Napa (1B,1L,1D)

Visit Lake Berryessa, a popular destination for kayaking or canoeing and hiking. We kayak in the morning and then take a hike along the lake for a chance to see White Pelicans and Golden and Bald Eagles. Return to Napa and enjoy a last group dinner before it is time to say goodbye.

Day 6 San Francisco (1B)

Morning wine tour or optional hot air balloon ride above the vineyards before we head back to San Francisco where our adventure ends at approx 5pm.
