Prepare yourself for the rugged beauty of Gros Morne National Park and fantastic wildlife along the way—ever been moose-spotting? But you'll also enjoy the luxury of comfortable hotels each and every night. Get ready to kayak at the feet of the Table Mountains and hike past ancient cultures on the Viking Trail and wild mountains on the way to the Baker River chutes. There may not be many people in this part of Newfoundland, but you’re guaranteed to meet out of this world scenery at every turn.

Day 1 Deer Lake (1B,1L,1D)

Meet your group in the early morning. Travel to Gros Morne National Park. Hike to the Baker River chutes then to Green Point. Head to the hotel in Rocky Harbour.

Day 2 Rocky Harbour (1B,1L)

Hike the Trout River Trail in the Table Mountains before an afternoon of sea kayaking. End the day with happy hour on the beach.

Day 3 Saint Anthony/L'Anse aux Meadows (1B,1L)

Go moose-watching before breakfast. Visit Port au Choix and the Paleoeskimau Museum, then hike the Viking Trail. From May to mid-June you can see icebergs.

Day 4 Saint Anthony/L'Anse aux Meadows (1B,1L)

Learn about Vikings at l'Anse aux Meadows. Enjoy a boat ride amongst icebergs and whales (circumstance allowing).

Day 5 Gros Morne/Rocky Harbour (1B,1L,1D)

Visit the Gros Morne and hike the interior fjord of Westernbrook Pond. Back to Rocky Harbour for the night.

Day 6 Deer Lake (1B,1L)

Hike up the Gros Morne. Transfer to Deer Lake where our adventure ends at approx 5pm.
