Shop till you drop! You'll stay in a 400-year old hacienda for a taste of colonial life while admiring the snow-capped peak of Cayambe Volcano. Then shop Ecuadorian style—alpaca, leather, traditional weaving and handicrafts are available daily but twice a week the Otavalo market becomes the largest indigenous market in South America. Pick up some vegetables, that goat you were looking at, or anything you can imagine—just don't forget your camera!

Day 1 Quito
Morning pickup from hotel in Quito. Travel north to Hacienda Guachala, with stops at the Equator Line, Pululahua Crater and Calderon Town. arriving at our distinctive 400 year old hacienda. Afternoon options include hiking, horseback riding or just taking in the surroundings.
Day 2 Cayambe/Otavalo
Spend the morning in Cayambe before heading to Otavalo for some afternoon exploration of this friendly city.
Day 3 Quito
This morning take a tour to Otavalo’s world famous handicrafts market, one of the largest in South America. In the afternoon visit a weaving shop and a waterfall in Peguche before heading back to Quito.
