Day 1 Puno
On arrival in Puno you'll be picked up and taken to your hotel. Overlooking Lake Titicaca, Puno is a wonderful town for discovery. Take some leisure time to explore the busy market, cathedral, quaint museum, and visit one of Puno’s oldest houses, the Casa del Corregidor, now a cultural centre. Friendly locals proudly display their rich culture and are known to have the most colourful costumes in the Peruvian highlands.
Day 2 Puno (B)
Take a morning boat ride on the world’s highest navigable lake, Lake Titicaca, to visit the floating reed islands of the Uros people. This is the largest lake in the world above 2000 metres and has abundant islands to enjoy. Scenic splendour is all around. Enjoy your afternoon at leisure in Puno.
