Scamper across the Columbia Icefields and dip your toe in the emerald waters of Lake Louise—yes, it really does look like a postcard. Then put on your cowboy hat and enjoy a 2-night stay at a Kananaskis ranch—horseback riding and sumptuous western cuisine await. With mountain lodges and a good chance of spotting elk and bears, this is one heck of a trip.

Day 1 Calgary

Arrive at any time.

Day 2-3 Banff (2B)

Head into the Rockies and Banff National Park. Orientation walk in the town and visit to Tunnel Mountain, Bow Falls and Lake Minnewanka. Option to ride the Sulphur Mountain gondola. Go whitewater rafting, canoeing or soak in the hot springs.

Day 4-5 Jasper (2B)

Drive the famed Icefields Parkway taking in the towering mountains, turquoise lakes, waterfalls and glaciers. Stop at Athabaska Glacier and Columbia Icefields where we take a thrilling ice walk. In Jasper, opt to hike or cruise Maligne Lake or go rafting on the Athabasca River.

Day 6-7 Kananaskis County (2B, 1L, 2D)

Scenic drive visiting Peyto Lake, Bow Lake and the emerald blue waters of Lake Louise. Spend 2 nights at a western guest ranch with a 2 hr included horseback ride and cowboy western cuisine. Option for additional horse and trail riding, whitewater rafting, treetop ropes and ziplining or relaxing at the pool.

Day 8 Calgary (B)

Drive to Calgary and take an orientation tour of the city. Option to visit Olympic Park.

Day 9 Calgary (B)

Depart at any time.
