They're the closest mammal out there to us homo sapiens, and on this trip we aim to bring you as close as possible to these majestic creatures. There'll be gorillas, monkeys and chimps in abundance on this 9-day trip through Rwanda and Uganda (now quite safe and very enticing to visit) as we take part in numerous treks to see primates, take boat and jeep safaris in national parks, and learn about Rwanda's fascinating culture and history along the way. With an expert local CEO throughout and comfortable lodges to stay in, your focus can stay on spotting primates in their natural habitat.
We recommend booking this trip as far in advance as possible due to the limited number of permits available for the primate trekking. It is not unusual for permits to be sold out as far as 6 months prior.
