Scotland may be known for its whisky but it’s also overflowing with glens, rivers, and lochs that are waiting for the adventurous. This energetic seven-day trip offers a combination of hillwalking, adrenaline-sport options, and local culture. Test your nerves rafting the River Tay's waters and settle them again sampling the local whisky. Admire the views around Ben Vrackie, Glen Shee, and the best of the Scottish Highlands. This is a great option for the typically independent traveller wanting to get further afield in the rolling hills.

Day 1 Edinburgh

Arrive at any time.

Day 2 Pitlochry (1B)

Transfer from Edinburgh to Pitlochry, our base for the next four days. The rest of the day is free.

Day 3 Pitlochry/Glen Shee (1B)

Hillwalking in the Scottish Highlands, with views across mountains and glens.

Day 4 Pitlochry/River Tay (1B)

Raft the River Tay, among churning rapids and fast flowing currents.

Day 5 Pitlochry (1B)

Take a day to learn about some of the local Scottish culture, including an all important whisky tasting session.

Day 6 Pitlochry/Ben Vrackie(1B)

Views of lochs and Scottish moorland as we hike around Ben Vrackie.

Day 7 Edinburgh (1B)

Transfer by train to Edinburgh. Please book any onward travel after 3:00pm.
