Itinerary Notes

This trip is designed for parents and children to enjoy together. You will be travelling as part of a group of families with other children. The itinerary has been designed with the needs of the whole family in mind. We have given this trip a minimum age for this trip to allow you to be sure that you have the right trip for you and your family. Minimum age of 8 years for this trip. Please see the activities for any specific minimum age requirements.

Day 1 Johannesburg (1D)

Arrive in Johannesburg. Arrival transfer included.

Day 2 Sabie (1B)

Leaving Johannesburg, we head due East towards Mpumalanga, along the way taking in the sights of the world famous Panorama Route, including the Blyde River Canyon, Bourke's Luck Potholes, God's Window and some beautiful waterfalls. We will also stop in the historic mining town of Pilgrims Rest and explore its quaint streets and try our hand at gold panning.

Day 3-4 Timbavati (2B,2L,2D)

Embark on open safari vehicle game drives in Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, adjoining Kruger National Park. Keep an eye out for elephant, lion, rhino, leopard and buffalo—Africa's famed Big Five.

Day 5-6 Kruger (2B,2L,2D)

Hop on an early-morning game drive in an open safari vehicle in Timbavati Private Nature Reserve. Enjoy more game driving inside Kruger National Park in our own vehicle.

Day 7 Swaziland (1B, 1L)

Drive to Swaziland. Option to go hiking, mountain biking or visit a traditional Swazi village.

Day 8-9 St. Lucia (2B)

We continue along the coast to St. Lucia. Option to go for boat cruises, kayaking or game driving in Hluhluwe/Umfolozi Game Reserve.

Day 10-11 Drakensburg (2B)

Into the Drakensburg, the highest mountain range in South Africa. We have 2 days to hike in this magnificent settings, or just relax and enjoy the scenery.

Day 12 Johannesburg (1B)

Return to Johannesburg, depart at any time.
