Beginning in Lima, you’ll travel north to uncover the lush and mysterious Chachapoyas region, home to the Gocta Cataracts—the world’s third-highest waterfall—and Karajia and Kuelap, two of the area’s pre-Inca archaeological sites. There are so many ruins here that many remain unexcavated even today.
