Day 1 Cape Town

Arrive at any time. Transfer to hotel included.

Days 2-3 Cape Town (2B, 1D)

Visit world-famous Table Mountain and the Castle of Good Hope. Enjoy a guided tour of the Cape of Good Hope and an introductory Afrikaans language lesson. Experience a unique home-cooked meal in a private home.

Day 4 Pretoria (1B, 1D)

Flight from Cape Town to Johannesburg. Guided tour of Soweto and the Mandela House. Traditional South African braai (barbeque) in the evening.

Days 5-6 Manyeleti Game Reserve (2B, 2D)

Drive the world-famous Panorama Route, including Blyde River Canyon, Bourke's Luck Potholes and the town of Pilgrims Rest. Enjoy a sunset game drive in Manyeleti Game Reserve in open safari vehicle and have a Shangaan (Tsonga) language lesson. We also visit the Planeterra volunteer project - Hope Africa Children's Day School - in the Shalati village.

Day 7 Kruger National Park (1B)

Enjoy a game drive in our own vehicle in Kruger National Park with visit to the Stevenson-Hamilton Memorial Museum. Option to embark on an evening game drive in an open safari vehicle.

Day 8 Pretoria (1B, 1D)

Guided tour of historic Pretoria, including Freedom Park and the Union Buildings. Enjoy a home-cooked dinner with a local Afrikaner family.

Days 9-10 Okavango Delta (2B, 1L, 2D)

Flight from Johannesburg to Maun. Enjoy game walks and traditional mokoro excursions in the delta. Learn the ways of the bush from your local polers on your 2-night mobile safari tented camp.

Day 11 Kasane/Chobe (1B)

Early morning game walk. Flight from Maun to Kasane and sunset boat cruise with wildlife viewing on the Chobe River.

Days 12-13 Livingstone (2B, 1D)

Option to embark on an early-morning game drive in Chobe National Park. Ferry from Kasane to Livingstone, with a guided tour of Victoria Falls and a farewell dinner and drumming session. Option to enjoy whitewater rafting, canoeing, elephant-back safari or a flight over the falls.

Day 14 Livingstone (1B)

Depart at any time.
