Day 1 Los Angeles

Day 2 Los Angeles/Joshua Tree NP/Lake Havasu (1D)

Orientation tour of fabulous Los Angeles, highlights including Hollywood, Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive. Witness some of the world's natural wonders in Joshua Tree National Park, home to numerous varieties of plants and animals that brave the climatic extremes. Explore the beauty of the desert with taking short hikes among the famous Joshua Trees. At Lake Havasu, cool off and enjoy the crystal clear water of the Colorado River.

Day 3 Grand Canyon NP (1B,1L,1D)

In the morning discover a piece of London in Lake Havasu City, the London Bridge. Continue across vast desert landscapes to one of the earth's greatest on-going geological spectacles: the Grand Canyon! Take short hikes at the most spectacular gorge in the world and enjoy a pizza dinner at the rim as you view the stunning sunset.

Day 4 Grand Canyon NP/Las Vegas (1B,1L)

Enjoy a bird's eye view of the Grand Canyon with an optional helicopter flight in the morning. Get your kicks on Route 66 and stop at the "Snow Cap-Drive In", one of the wackiest, off beat burger joints around. Explore the city of lights of Las Vegas along the famous "Vegas Strip" on foot. Optional VIP limo experience in Vegas.

For our night in Las Vegas, we stay close to the action in a hotel in the city center.

Day 5 Death Valley NP/Bishop (1D)

Visit one of the country's most rugged landscapes, the legendary Death Valley, the hottest and driest spot and home to the lowest point in North America. Surrounded by peaks which soar to over 14,000 feet in elevation, Bishop, one of "America's Coolest Mountain Towns" sits directly in the center of an incredible area of natural beauty. Enjoy secluded natural hot springs where the stargazing is spectacular.

Note that on Day 6, we intend on using the Tioga Pass, a scenic a route through the Sierra Nevada mountain range that connects Bishop with Yosemite NP. In the spring and autumn seasons, there's a chance that the pass will be closed due to poor weather conditions or even snow. In such a case, we use an alternate route today, and will spend the night in Lake Isabella instead of Bishop. The status of the road is monitored daily, and our travel plan for the area will be confirmed during the trip.

Day 6 Yosemite NP (1B,1L,1D)

Marvel at the spectacular views of Yosemite National Park's magnificent peaks and granite domes as you enjoy one of most scenic drives in California: the Tioga Pass! Take short hikes to majestic waterfalls, clear lakes, beautiful meadows or walk amongst giant sequoias. With a keen eye, you may be lucky enough to spot black bears, deer or coyotes.

Day 7 Yosemite NP/San Francisco (1B,1L)

Explore one of the greatest cities in the world: San Francisco! Discover most iconic attractions such as bustling Fisherman's Wharf or the stately Golden Gate Bridge, a marvel of engineering and deco design. Go back in time and take an optional cable car ride over the steep hills or rent bikes and explore the city on wheels. In the evening optional sunset sailing.

Day 9 Mendocino (1D)

Experience one of California's most beautiful scenic drives up the coast to Mendocino, where mountains pull back from the ocean, making spectacular views visible along Hwy 1. In the evening view a breathtaking sunset, walk the beach and enjoy Americas famous s'mores around the campfire.

Walk among towering Giant Redwoods as our journey takes us to one of the most spectacular views of the tallest trees in the world, the Avenue of the Giant. Wrapped in mist and silence, the Redwood State Park remains a mysterious world for you to explore.

Day 11 Oregon Dunes (1B,1L,1D)

Let the ocean breeze touch your face as you discover breathtaking panoramic views of the Oregon Coast. Step back in time we travel this fascinating area of Oregon's famous historic fishing villages and lumber towns. Rising from the shores of the Pacific Ocean, the unique and massive Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area offers an amazing scenery for you to discover on foot. An optional dune buggy ride is a great way to explore the area.

Day 12 Silver Falls SP (1B,1L,1D)

Today is all about the magnificent and largest state park in Oregon, Silver Falls State Park! This temperate rain forest wraps you with the feeling of another world. Hike the Ten Falls trail that takes you through amazing forest, it's ground covered with ferns, mosses and wildflowers. Walk past six waterfalls and discover secret trails behind four. Truly, this park is an Oregon treasure!

Day 13 Mt Rainier NP (1B,1L,1D)

Passing through the hip city of Portland, also known as the "City Of Roses", our way takes us to Mount St. Helens. The eruption of 1980 disrupted the lives of thousands and changed hundreds of miles of rich forest into a gray, lifeless landscape. Yet the scars are healing and Mount St. Helens is one the most visited, yet active Volcanoes in North America!

Day 14 Mt Rainer (1B,1D)

Today we have the full day to explore Mount Rainier, the highest volcano in the Cascade Range! With over 300 miles of trails through out the park, you will discover a world that, even if the weather might be foggy or misty, is quiet and beautiful. In the evening enjoy a BBQ around the campfire and recapture the experiences from this memorable day!

Day 15 Seattle (1B)

Our journey ends in Seattle, a magnificent city with a modern skyline of glass skyscrapers. Enjoy an orientation tour including famous Pike Place Market, the waterfront park, and the Pioneer Square. Opt to take a ride up the Space Needle for incredible views over the city.

For our night in Seattle, we give up camping for an urban experience in a hotel.
