Day 1 Delhi

Arrive any time.

Day 2 Delhi/Amritsar

Tour Old and New Delhi via the new metro in the morning before transferring to Amritsar.

Days 3 Amritsar

Visit the Golden Temple. Option to observe the formal India/Pakistan Wagah border ceremony in the evening.

Days 4-6 Dharamsala/McLeod Ganj

Orientation walk around McLeod Ganj, the famous seat of the Tibeten government in exile and current home to the Dalai Lama. Optional tour of beautiful Norbulingka, set among beautiful gardens. Overnight train to Rishikesh.

Days 7-8 Rishikesh/Haridwar

Visit the holy city of Rishikesh known for yoga and ashrams and Hardiwar, known to be at one of the sites where the elixir of immortality spilled from the pitcher, according to Hindu mythology. Option to go rafting.

Day 9 Agra

Travel to the City of the Taj—Agra. Orientation walk upon arrival.

Day 10-11 Jaipur

Visit the Taj Mahal. Orientation walk upon arrival to Jaipur and optional visit to the Amber Fort.

Day 12-13 Pushkar

Orientation walk around town. Visit Ajmer Dargah, the Bramha Temple and the Pushkar Lake. Afternoon train back to Delhi.

Day 14 Delhi

Depart at any time.
