Day 1 Moshi

Arrive at any time.

Day 2 Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut (1B,1L,1D)

Hike through forested lower slopes to Mandara Escarpment.

Day 3-4 Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut/Kibo Hut (2B,2L,2D)

Hike through heather and moorland zones to Horombo Hut before proceeding onto the Kilimanjaro Saddle through a desert-like alpine zone to Kibo Hut.

Day 5 Kibo Hut to Kilimanjaro Summit/Horombo Hut (1B,1L,1D)

Evening hike to the summit via Stella Point. Appreciate the beautiful sunrise, descend back to Horombo Hut.

Day 6 Descend Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate to Moshi (1B,1L,1D)

Your descent passes through villages and plantations on the slopes to Moshi.

Day 7 Arusha (1B)

Pick up any last minute supplies for your safari.

Day 8 Manyara National Park (1B,1L,1D)

Experience the Mto wa Mbu village with a guided cultural walk and traditional lunch with a local family; don't forget to try the banana beer. View wildlife on a game drive.

Day 9-10 Serengeti National Park (2B,2L,2D)

Visit an authentic Masai village and pull out the camera for great shots of wildlife on game drives.

Day 11-12 Ngorongoro Conservation Area/Arusha (2B,2L,1D)

Morning game drives in Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 13-14 Zanzibar/Stone Town (2B)

Fly to Zanzibar and lose yourself in the labyrinth of Stone Town.

Day 15-16 Zanzibar/Kendwa (2B)

Local spice plantation tour. Enjoy the white sand beaches of Kendwa.

Day 17 Zanzibar (1B)

Departure day, there is an included group transfer to Stone Town at 10am. Please make ongoing travel arrangements after this time.
