Itinerary Notes

This trip is designed for parents and children to enjoy together. You will be travelling as part of a group of families with other children. The itinerary has been designed with the needs of the whole family in mind. We have given this trip a minimum age for this trip to allow you to be sure that you have the right trip for you and your family. Minimum age of 6 years for this trip. Please see the activities for any specific minimum age requirements.

Day 1 Arusha (1D)

Arrive at any time. Arrival transfer included.

Day 2 Lake Manyara (1B)

Leaving Arusha, we drive to Lake Manyara. Afternoon Mto wa Mbu village visit with traditional dinner and culture walk.

Day 3 Ngorongoro Crater (1B)

Travel to Ngorongoro Crater, morning game drive, full day in crater. Travel out of crater early evening.

Day 4-5 Serengeti (2B)

Early morning start to see sunrise in Ngorongoro Crater. Drive to the Serengeti National Park and gaze at the night sky from the local camp. Enjoy game drives on both days in the Serengeti. Spend the night in lodges in the park, a perfect way to get close to nature - but not too close!

Day 6 Zanzibar (1B,1D)

Transfer to Arusha for a flight to Zanzibar. Explore Stonetown in the evening.

Day 7-9 Zanzibar (3B)

Explore the spice island and opt for a guided tour of a spice plantation, or visit several Arab residences, palaces, museums, and historic sites. Zanzibar is renowned for its beaches, so why not take advantage of these and just relax in the sun, or opt for a SCUBA diving or snorkelling tour (age restrictions). Savour the flavourful dishes of Zanzibar during a final group dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 10 Dar Es Salaam (1B)

Departure day. Return to the mainland by ferry, transfer to the airport in Dar Es Salaam is included.
