Day 1 Bangkok

Arrive in Bangkok at any time.

Day 2 Bangkok (B)

Guided longboat tour of Bangkok's klongs followed by a visit to Wat Po. Overnight train to Chiang Mai.

Days 3 Chiang Mai

Guided tour of Doi Suthep temple, optional cooking class or bicycle tour.

Days 4-6 Hilltribe Trek (3B,2L,2D)

Trek through the hills of the north, staying in remote hilltribe villages, eating locally prepared meals, take an elephant ride through the jungle.

Day 7-8 Chiang Mai (2B)

Post-trek massage, anyone? Overnight train on Day 8 to Ayutthaya.

Day 9 Ayutthaya

Visit some of the historical temples of the old capital city, Ayutthaya.

Days 10-11 Kanchanaburi (B,D)

Spend the night on a floating rafthouse, visit the Bridge on the River Kwai and Erawan National Park.

Day 12 Bangkok (B)

Return to the kingdom's bustling capital.

Day 13 Koh Klang (1B)

After a short morning flight from Bangkok to Krabi, head to the homestay on Koh Klang. Visit a local government supported project to help build local communities then relax and soak in the southern Thai culture.

Days 14-15 Krabi (2B)

Travel by private boat to Ao Nang Beach. From here, opt to sunbathe, kayak, rock climb, snorkel or dive. In the evening, enjoy the bars and restaurants in the area.

Days 16-17 Koh Phai (2B)

Take a private longtail boat to Koh Phai (Bamboo Island). Enjoy camping here for two nights with the beautiful beaches and stunning coral reefs around the island. Enjoy an included snorkelling trip to four surrounding islands.

Days 18-19 Railay/Overnight train (2B)

Enjoy one night in a guesthouse on Railay Beach. This area boasts plenty of activities such as sea kayaking, diving, rock climbing, snorkelling, jungle trekking, cooking, elephant trekking, whitewater rafting and quad biking. Feel free to lounge on the beach, too. Enjoy the morning on Day 19 before catching the overnight train to Bangkok.

Day 20 Bangkok

Trip ends on arrival at Bangkok train station. Onward travel can be booked for 3pm or later.
