City tour of Lome, including the fetish market. Encounter voodoo first hand at a local celebration. Guided forest in Kpalime.
Day 4 Porto Novo (B)
Boat cruise across Lake Nowke, Ganvie stilt village visit.
Days 5-6 Bohicon/Taneka (2B,1L,1D)
Porto Novo city tour with visits to the Ethnographic Museum, religious centres, and herbal market. Visit a genuine Yoruba King, see the colourful Egun Dancing Mask celebration, visit the Abomey Royal Palace and the Savalou shrine.
Days 7-8 Fulani/Atakora (2B,2L,2D)
Guided trek through the Taneka area, guided village walks in the Somba and Tamberma village areas.
Days 9-10 Dapaong/Gurunsi Region, Burkina Faso (2B,2L,1D)
Visit a village of the Moba people, see a traditional dance of the Gurunsi people while visiting their area.
