Day 1 Hanoi
Arrive at any time today. An arrival transfer is included.
Day 2 Halong Bay (B,L,D)
After breakfast at KOTO training restaurant, transfer to Halong Bay. Spend a night on a traditional Junk boat surrounded by turquoise waters, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the calm waters.
Days 3-4 Hue (2B,1L)
After a morning on the Bay we transfer back to Hanoi to catch our flight to Hue. On day 4, we visit the ancient walled Citadel containing the former Imperial Palace. We then take a trip into the surrounding countryside to see the final resting place of former Emperors, visiting one of the most impressive Royal Tombs.
Days 5-7 Hoi An (3B,1L)
Scenic drive to Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Here we enjoy a walking tour of the ancient town and take a cooking lesson at a local culinary school. Option to visit local tailors, shopping, or excursions to My Son ruins.
Days 8-9 Nha Trang (2B,1L)
A short flight brings us to Nha Trang. We take a sunset cyclo trip through this idyllic seaside town fringed by golden sands and brilliant blue waters. On day 9 we cruise the South China Sea on a converted fishing boat visiting islands and enjoying a fresh seafood lunch.
Day 10 Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Flight to Saigon, Vietnam’s biggest city, with the option to take a cyclo tour and visit overflowing markets and shops.
Day 11 Mekong Delta (B,D)
Travel to where the mighty Mekong River splits into a labyrinth of channels and islands and the only transportation is by boat. Here we explore small villages and farms and overnight at a local home-stay.
Day 12 Ho Chi Minh City (B,D)
We head back to Ho Chi Minh City for your final chance of sightseeing and shopping before we head out to reminisce about our journey through Vietnam and savour some excellent cuisine.
