Day 3-4 Moscow
Explore Moscow with optional visits to numerous museums and galleries, the Kremlin and Lenin's Mausoleum.
Day 5-7 Russia
Riding one of the world's most famous rail routes, journey 72 hours across the Ural Mountains and through the wilds of the Siberian taiga.
Day 8 Listvyanka/Lake Baikal (1D)
Homestay in Listvyanka village on the shore of Lake Baikal offers options of banya (Russian sauna), boat trip on Lake Baikal and trekking.
Day 9-10 Trans-Mongolian Railway (1B)
Guided tour of Irkutsk before two nights spent on the train to Ulan Bator. Crossing border to Mongolia.
Day 11-13 Ulan Bator (2B,1L,1D)
Explore Ulan Bator and stay overnight in the traditional ger camp.
Day 14 Trans-Mongolian Railway (1B)
36-hr journey through Inner Mongolia to Beijing with border crossing to China.
