Day 1 Cape Town

Arrive at any time.

Day 2-3 Cederberg/Gariep River (2B,2L,2D)

Discover a local vineyard. Camp on a local farm in South Africa. Canoe on or jump into the Gariep River.

Day 4-8 Fish River Canyon/Namib Desert/Swakopmund (4B,4L,3D)

Fish River Canyon visit, Sossusvlei dunes, game drives in Etosha National Park. Optional activities include sand boarding, a dolphin cruise, sky diving, quad biking, or a Living Desert tour in Swakopmund.

Day 9-13 Damaraland/Etosha NP/Waterburg/Windhoek (5B,4L,4D)

Travel through beautiful desert landscapes. Game drives in Etosha National Park. Scenic walk in Waterberg Plateau National Park. Option to explore the city centre of Windhoek.

Day 14-16 Kalahari/Maun/Okavango Delta (3B,3L,3D)

Stop over in Kalahari desert. Optional walk to learn survival skills from the locals. Enjoy game walks, traditional mokoro (dug-out canoe) rides and birding on our 2-night bush camping excursion.

Day 17-18 Gweta/Chobe National Park (2B,2L,2D)

Camp under ancient baobab trees. Take an optional boat cruise on the Chobe River or a game drive in open safari vehicle.

Day 19-24 Livingstone/Lusaka/Chipata (6B,3L,2D)

Enjoy four nights in Livingstone. Camp on a private game farm near Lusaka. Options to visit to the craft markets and Victoria Falls, or enjoy whitewater rafting, canoeing, an elephant-back safari or even flying over the falls.

Day 25-28 Lake Malawi (4B,4L,4D)

Relax on the shores of 'the lake of stars', visit various lakeside camps. Option to go for walks, snorkelling, village tours or a fishing trip.

Day 29-30 Iringa/Dar Es Salaam (2B,2L,2D)

Climb out of the Great Rift Valley and view vast tea plantations, then descend down to the Indian Ocean.

Day 31-34 Zanzibar (4B)

Explore Stone Town and enjoy a guided tour of a spice plantation. Option to visit museums, historical sites, markets or enjoy the beach and marine activities like snorkelling, scuba diving and swimming.

Day 35-39 Korogwe/Arusha/Serengeti/Ngorongoro Crater (5B,5L,5D)

Take the ferry to Dar Es Salaam. Catch your first glimpse of Kilimanjaro. Game drives in Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater in 4x4 safari vehicles.

Day 40-44 Nairobi/Lake Nakuru/Kampala (5B,4L,4D)

Hotel stay in Nairobi. Game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. Cross over the Mau Mau Escarpment to Eldoret and see the sights in Kampala.

Day 45-46 Queen Elizabeth National Park (2B,2L,2D)

Game drives for wildlife viewing. Take in the wilderness on an included boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel.

Day 47-49 Gorilla Tracking/Kabale(3B,3L,3D)

Enjoy a guided mountain gorilla trek. Opt to go canoeing, fishing, hiking or boating.

Day 50-52 Mbarara/Jinja (3B,3L,3D)

Check out the town of Mbarara and opt to go whitewater rafting, kayaking down the White Nile River, mountain biking or volunteering with a local project in Jinja.

Day 53-54 Nairobi (2B,2L,1D)

Cross over into Kenya and onto Nairobi—where the tour ends upon arrival in the late afternoon.
