Day 1 Antigua

Arrive at any time.

Day 2 Antigua (L)

Visit a small Mayan community to learn about local handicrafts and traditions and enjoy a typical lunch. Option to climb Pacaya Volcano, explore Antigua or relax with a massage.

Day 3-4 Copán

Guided tour of the Mayan ruins of Copán.

Day 5-7 Roatán

Option to snorkel, scuba dive or just relax on the beach.

Day 8-9 León

Orientation walk around the city center. Option to go “volcano boarding” down volcano Cerro Negro, visit Central America’s largest cathedral, or explore León’s history-filled streets.

Day 10-11 Granada

Orientation walk in Granada and visit to nearby Masaya Volcano. Options to kayak the isletas in Lake Nicaragua or explore the market.

Day 12-13 Ometepe (D)

Visit to a local family's house and enjoy a traditional meal. Option to climb either of the two volcanoes that make up the island or visit a local swimming hole.

Day 14-15 San Juan del Sur

Relax on the beach and enjoy the sunset. Options to take surf lessons or go fishing.

Day 16-17 Monteverde

Guided visit of the Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserve. Option to fly across canopy ziplines or tour a coffee plantation.

Day 18-19 La Fortuna

Options include rafting, waterfall rappelling, a guided hike around the base of Arenal Volcano, and visiting local hot springs.

Day 20 San José

Transfer to the nation's capital for one final evening with the group.
