Spend two weeks working at a voluntary drop-in centre for children and youth where they can get help with homework, a hot meal and participate in a variety of workshops. Children living in extreme poverty in Cuzco are often forced to drop out of school to work or beg on the streets to help support their families. You will be contributing to a project that provides children from poor families with a place to get guidance and support and getting more out of your vacation.

Day 1 Cuzco

Arrive at any time.

Days 2-6 Volunteer with Children

Spend mornings and afternoons volunteering at a drop-in center for children supported by Planeterra. Play games, help with homework, teach English, help with the cooking and participate in various workshops such as leather working and jewellery making (intermediate Spanish required).

Days 7-8 Cuzco

Free weekend to enjoy all that Cuzco has to offer. Free time to explore the city or enjoy some of the numerous optional activities: horseback riding, river rafting or a Sacred Valley tour.

Days 9-13 Volunteer with Children

Spend a second week volunteering and making a difference in these children's lives.

Day 14 Cuzco
