Cruise the Galapagos aboard the comfortable g1. Lead by an expert Naturalist Guide, you'll meet the incredible creatures that inspired Darwin’s theory of natural selection. At night, retire to your bunk in an air-conditioned twin cabin, featuring private bath and a window looking out to the ocean. With eight days aboard, you’ll have plenty of chances to snorkel the islands with the included equipment or reflect on your adventure with a cold drink on the two-level wraparound deck. Day 1 Quito
Arrive at any time.
Day 2 Baltra / North Seymour (B, L,D)
Fly to Baltra. Meet the guide and transfer to the boat. Visit North Seymour in the afternoon to see the observe the birdlife, including frigate birds and blue-footed boobies.
Day 3 San Cristóbal (B,L,D)
Morning landing at Isla Lobos on San Cristóbal Island to see the sea lions and have a snorkelling excursion before visiting dramatic Kicker Rock. Continue to Cerro Brujo in the afternoon to observe the sea lions, marine iguanas and seabirds along the beach.
Day 4 Española (B,L,D)
Visit to Punta Suarez and Gardner Bay on Española Island. Guided walks to observe wildlife and free time for swimming or snorkelling.
Day 5 Floreana (B,L,D)
Land at Punta Cormorant, on Floreana Island. Guided walks to observe the bird and wildlife and learn about the natural history. Visit Post Office Bay in the afternoon. Snorkelling excusion at the Corona del Diablo.
Day 6 Santa Cruz (B,L,D)
Visit the Charles Darwin Research Station to see the giant Galapagos tortoises and take an excursion to the Santa Cruz Highlands. Free time for shopping or exploration of Puerto Ayora.
Day 7 South Plaza / Santa Fé (B,L,D)
Land at South Plaza in the morning for wildlife spotting opportunities. Afternoon visit to Santa Fé Island for guided walks to observe the wildlife and plentiful marine iguanas. Opportunities for swimming and snorkelling with the sea lions.
Day 8 Bartolomé / Puerto Egas (B,L,D)
Visit to Bartolomé Island for a guided tour to see the dramatic volcanic features before hiking to a panoramic viewpoint. Afternoon visit to Puerto Egas to see the salt crater as well as a dark sand beach and tidal pools.
Day 9 Mosquera / Baltra / Quito (B)
Morning excursion to Mosquera Island to stroll on the beach and see the vast sea lion colonies before disembarking at Baltra for the flight back to Quito.
