Cruise the Galapagos aboard the comfortable g1. Lead by an expert Naturalist Guide, you'll meet the incredible creatures that inspired Darwin’s theory of natural selection. At night, retire to your bunk in an air-conditioned twin cabin, featuring private bath and a window looking out to the ocean. With five days aboard, you’ll have plenty of chances to snorkel the islands with the included equipment or reflect on your adventure with a cold drink on the two-level wraparound deck. Day 1 Quito
Arrive at any time.
Day 2 Baltra / Santa Cruz (B,L,D)
Fly to Baltra. Meet the guide and transfer across Santa Cruz Island to Puerto Ayora to board the boat. Afternoon visit to the Charles Darwin Research Station.
Day 3 Isabela (B,L,D)
Land at Punta Moreno on the southwest coast of Isabela Island to see the lava formations, flamingoes and amazing views of the 3 most active volcanoes in the Galapagos Islands. Afternoon excursion to Bahía Elisabeth for more wildlife viewing and opportunities for swimming and snorkelling.
Day 4 Fernandina / Isabela (B,L,D)
Morning landing at Punta Espinoza on Fernandina Island, the youngest in the Galapagos Islands. Witness the largest colony of marine iguanas and a variety of bird life before continuing to Bahía Urbina back on Isabela Island to observe the giant land iguanas, bird life and with some luck some Galapagos tortoises in the wild.
Day 5 Isla Santiago (B,L,D)
Morning excursion to Playa Espumilla, one of the most idyllic beaches in the Galapagos islands, with thick mangroves along with flamingo and sea turtle nesting sites. Continue to Buccaneer Cove to witness the towering cliff wall rock formations.
Day 6 Daphne / Baltra / Quito (B)
Visit to Daphne to spot birds and wildlife before disembarking at Baltra for the flight back to Quito.
Day 7 Quito (B)
