Day 1 Quito

Arrive at any time.

Day 2 Baltra Island & Las Bachas (B,L,D)

Fly to Baltra. Meet your guide and transfer to the ship. Visit the beach of Las Bachas in the afternoon.

Day 3 North Seymour Island & Bartolomé Island (1B,1L,1D)

Land on North Seymour to view the sea lions, blue-footed boobies and magnificent frigatebirds. Visit Bartolomé in the afternoon for a guided tour to see the dramatic volcanic features before hiking to a panoramic viewpoint.

Day 4 Santiago Island (B,L,D)

Morning excursion to Puerto Egas to see the salt crater as well as a dark-sand beach and tidal pools. In the afternoon, visit Playa Espumilla, one of the most idyllic beaches in the Galápagos Islands, with thick mangroves along with flamingo and sea turtle nesting sites. Continue to Buccaneer Cove to witness the towering cliff wall rock formations.

Day 5 Fernandina Island (1B,1L,1D)

Morning landing at Tagus Cove, where you can follow a trail along Lake Darwin up to a ridge high enough to display amazing views. Later in the day, visit Punta Espinosa on Fernandina, the youngest in the Galápagos Islands. Witness the largest colony of marine iguanas and a variety of bird life.

Day 6 Isabela Island (1B,1L,1D)

Morning excursion to Elizabeth Bay for wildlife viewing and opportunities for swimming and snorkelling. Afternoon landing at Punta Moreno on the southwest coast of Isabela to see the lava formations, flamingos and amazing views of the three most active volcanoes in the Galápagos Islands

Day 7 Isabela (1B,1L,1D)

Visit Las Tintoreras, the Wall of Tears, and the tortoise breeding centre in Puerto Villamil in the morning. In the afternoon, hike the Sierra Negra volcano, which has the largest basaltic caldera in the Galápagos.

Day 8 Santa Cruz Island (1B,1L,1D)

Visit Cerro Dragón in the morning on the west coast of Santa Cruz to see land iguanas and a saltwater lagoon frequented by flamingos and other species of birds. Afternoon excursion to Punta Carrión for a chance to snorkel with the marine life keeping an eye out for playful sea lions and sea turtles.

Day 9 Santa Cruz, Puerto Ayora & Quito (1B)

Disembark in Puerto Ayora and visit the Charles Darwin Research Station to see the giant Galápagos tortoises. Fly back to Quito.

Day 10 Quito (1B)

Depart at any time.
