Day 1 Beijing
Arrive at any time.
Day 2-3 Beijing
Walk the legendary grounds of Tiananmen Square. Included visit to the Great Wall. Optional activities include the Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven. Overnight train to Xi'an.
Day 4-5 Xi'an
Orientation walk. Optional visit to China’s greatest archaeological treasures—the Terracotta Warriors. Option to cycle the ancient city walls.
Day 6 Chengdu
Transport is provided to see the famous Giant Pandas up close at the Panda Breeding Centre. Option to see the famous Sichuan opera.
Day 7-8 Leshan and Emeishan
Hike Mount Emei, one of the Four Sacred Buddhist Mountains of China staying in a monastery. Optional visit to marvel at the world's largest sitting outdoor Buddha in Leshan.
Day 9-10 Lijiang
Visit Lijiang, a World Heritage listed town. Optional visit to the Black Dragon Pool Park.
Day 11-12 Tiger Leaping Gorge
Trek the Tiger Leaping Gorge, a spectacular trail following the mighty Yangtze River as it cuts through the dramatic gorge.
Day 13 Dali
Free time to explore this colourful walled town.
Day 14-15 Kunming
Travel overland to visit Kunming's world famous "Stone Forest" then continue to Guilin by overnight train.
Day 16-19 Yangshuo
Options to cycle through the countryside of Yangshuo, experience a local cooking school, practice tai chi, or see the Light and Sound show produced by Zhang Yimou.
Day 20 Hong Kong
