Day 2 Stone Town (1B)

The day is yours to explore Stone Town at your leisure. A UNESCO World Heritage site, Stone Town is a captivating labyrinth of narrow streets and winding alleyways. Lose yourself in the buzz of the markets, delight your senses in the bustling bazaars, and check out the many mosques and grand Arab residences. Options include a tour of the town, visiting the local museums, or just relaxing and waiting for the famous sunsets.

Day 3 Spice Plantation/Kendwa (1B)

Travel north across this tropical island to Kendwa, home of the islands best beaches and nightlife. A visit to Zanzibar would not be complete without a visit to a local spice plantation, so we stop en route for a full guided tour. These spice plantations brought the beginnings of Zanzibar’s infamous slave trade. The archipelago still produces cloves, black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, breadfruit, jackfruit, vanilla and lemongrass.

Day 4 Kendwa (1B)

Relax on the white sand beach, soak up the sunshine, or snorkel or scuba dive in the crystal clear waters. Hop on a dhow for a cruise just off the coast to watch the African sun go down over the Zanzibar channel.
