Visual Adventure: Iceland

Iceland: The name sounds cold, for sure, but this Nordic island is full of some of the warmest people you’ve ever met. If you need a demonstration, then look no further than our brand-spankin’-new-for-2014 Local Living Iceland – Northern Lights & Reykjavík trip. On this 5-day sojourn to the land of fire and ice, lucky travellers get to stay in a house in Reykjavík and experience what life is like in Iceland – everything from shopping at local markets to touring the city streets to gazing up at the Northern Lights. It’s no wonder that Iceland wants to be your friend! (And really, how could you resist?)

Check out some of these gorgeous photos taken by Bethany Hodge of the Frontier office here at G Adventures – hopefully they’ll inspire you to take a trip to Iceland yourself:

Was the first picture taken from Hallagrimurs Church? When I was there we could not take pics as it was raining hard and skies almost black.
