We asked that question, then answered it with this trip—a sprawling, nature-rich mini-epic that melds some of Canada’s best national parks with time off the mist-shrouded shores of Vancouver Island. Loaded with diverse experiences—whale-watching, glacier hikes, hot springs and much, much more—and bookend nights in Calgary and Vancouver, you’ll stuff a lifetime’s worth of adventure into the space of a mere two weeks.

Day 1Calgary

Arrive to the joining hotel at any time. There will be a welcome meeting in the evening.

Day 2Calgary/Banff(1L)

Discover the beautiful town of Banff, view wildlife, take a gondola ride, or hike up a mountain for spectacular views.

Day 3Banff/Lake Louise(1B, 1L, 1D)

Gaze at the beauty of Lake Louise, and hike to the Agnes Lake Tea House or along the Six Glacier Trail.

Day 4Lake Louise(1B, 1L, 1D)

Head into Yoho National Park and visit the mighty Tekakkaw Falls and Emerald Lake. Opt to go whitewater rafting in the afternoon.

Day 5Lake Louise/Jasper(1B, 1L, 1D)

Make the stunning drive to Jasper via the Icefield Parkway. Visit beautiful Peyto Lake, and stop at Columbia Icefield Centre before arriving in Japer in the evening.

Day 6Jasper(1B, 1L, 1D)

Stroll through Maligne Canyon and explore the surrounding area of Jasper. In the afternoon, head back to check out the lively mountain town.

Day 7Jasper/Wells Gray Park(1B, 1L, 1D)

Stop at Mount Robson, the tallest mountain in the Rockies, en route to Wells Gray PP.

Day 8Wells Gray Park(1B, 1L, 1D)

Head out for an exciting day of canoeing in the Canadian wilderness. Stop at some of the most beautiful waterfalls in the park, including the world famous Helmcken Falls.

Day 9Wells Gray Park/Whistler(1B, 1L, 1D)

Drive through dense woods into the Canadian desert and finally to the beautiful coastal mountains.

Day 10Whistler(1B, 1L)

Wake up in one of Canada's greatest natural playgrounds. Go for a hike in the morning, then enjoy a free afternoon to relax or explore more of Whistler and its surroundings.

Day 11Whistler/Tofino(1B, 1D)

Take a ferry across to Vancouver Island. Stroll the trails beneath ancient Douglas firs in MacMillan PP. Arrive in time for a gorgeous sunset.

Day 12Tofino(1B, 1L, 1D)

Search for orca whales in the morning on a Zodiac tour. In the afternoon, enjoy free time and take in Tofino's unique blend of fisher-meets-surfer vibe.

Day 13Tofino/Victoria(1B, 1L)

Travel south down Vancouver Island to British Columbia's capital, Victoria. Take a stroll around the city and take in the West Coast vibe.

Day 14Victoria/Vancouver(1B)

Take a ferry back onto the mainland. Spend the afternoon exploring beautiful, easy-going Vancouver.

Day 15Vancouver

Depart at any time.
