Day 1Nairobi

Arrive at any time.

Day 2Nairobi/Arusha(1B, 1L, 1D)

Cross through the semi-arid lands of the Masai people to Arusha.

Day 3Arusha/Serengeti National Park(1B, 1L, 1D)

Change over to 4x4 safari vehicles and enjoy a game drive en route to the camp site in the central Serengeti.

Day 4Serengeti National Park/Ngorongoro(1B, 1L, 1D)

Enjoy a game drive in the Serengeti during the day, and finish the evening camping at the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 5Ngorongoro/Marangu(1B, 1L, 1D)

Venture down to the crater floor, and take in a final safari experience viewing the high concentration of wildlife bound by the crater walls.

Day 6Marangu/Dar es Salaam(1B, 1L, 1D)

Hit the road, and enjoy the varied landscapes on the way to the Indian Ocean coast.

Day 7Dar es Salaam/Nungwi(1B)

Hop on a ferry, travel north to Nungwi Beach, and bliss out beachside on Zanzibar's northern coast.

Day 8Nungwi(1B)

Opt to go diving, snorkelling, exploring or just sit back and relax.

Day 9Nungwi/Stone Town(1B)

Travel back to Stone Town for a final night on this enchanting island.

Day 10Stone Town/Baobab Valley(1B, 1L, 1D)

Ferry to Dar es Salaam then continue to Baobab Valley.

Day 11Baobab Valley/Iringa(1B, 1L, 1D)

Spend another day on the road, and journey south to Iringa. Visit a crafts centre that supports the local community.

Day 12Iringa/Chitimba(1B, 1L, 1D)

Cross into Malawi and travel to beautiful Lake Malawi. Cap off the day with a visit to a local pub; the first drink is on us.

Day 13Chitimba/Kande Beach(1B, 1L, 1D)

Travel to another beautiful beach area on Lake Malawi.

Day 14Kande Beach(1B, 1L, 1D)

Enjoy a traditional dinner in a local home, and opt to explore by foot, go snorkelling, or take a village tour.

Day 15Kande Beach/Senga Bay(1B, 1L, 1D)

Continue south along Lake Malawi and spend another night along a beach.

Day 16Senga Bay/Chipata(1B, 1L, 1D)

Cross the border into Zambia.

Day 17Chipata/Lusaka(1B, 1L, 1D)

Sit back and enjoy a day of driving, taking in the scenery.

Day 18Lusaka/Livingstone(1B, 1L)

Continue travelling across Zambia and finish at lovely Livingstone just outside of Victoria Falls.

Opt to visit Victoria Falls, go whitewater rafting, or take a helicopter flight over the falls.

Visit the Kalahari Desert and meet the local San Bushmen. Enjoy an optional walk to learn survival skills from the locals.

Arrive in the area in the afternoon where we will be camping on a private farm on the edge of the Namib Desert. Opt to walk with a local expert who will explain the desert and its mysteries.

Explore Sossusvlei Dunes. Climb up breathtaking Dune 45.

Day 36Namib Desert/Fish River Canyon(1B, 1L, 1D)

Enjoy the sunset at Fish River Canyon.

Travel past large plantations of rooibos tea. Camp at the scenic Orange River, and opt to go canoeing.
