Day 1Nairobi(1B, 1L)

Arrive at any time.

Day 2Nairobi/Arusha(1B, 1D)

Travel south and cross the border into Tanzania.

Day 3Arusha/Mto wa Mbu(1B, 1L, 1D)

Visit Mto wa Mbu village to enjoy a local lunch and cultural experience with the city's villagers. After lunch, continue on to visit a Masai village to learn about the Masai people and the Planeterra-supported Clean Cookstove project. Meet the local women engineers who have installed clean cookstoves throughout these communities before continuing on to the night's camp.

Day 4Mto wa Mbu/Serengeti National Park(1B, 1L, 1D)

Enjoy a game drive in an overland truck en route to the central Serengeti. Set up camp at a basic bush camp and enjoy the starry African skies.

Day 5Serengeti National Park(1B, 1L, 1D)

Enjoy a full-day game drive in the overland truck. Opt for a morning hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti.

Day 6Serengeti National Park/Ngorongoro Crater(1B, 1L, 1D)

Set off on a game drive on the way out of the Serengeti. Camp on the Ngorongoro Crater's rim.

Day 7Ngorongoro Crater/Arusha(1B, 1L, 1D)

Game drive in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, then return to Arusha for a final evening with the group.

Day 8Arusha/Stone Town(1B)

Fly to the beautiful island of Zanzibar and transfer to the hotel.

Day 9Stone Town/Nungwi(1B)

Enjoy an orientation walk around historic Stone Town, then transfer to the white-sand beaches and turquoise waters of beautiful Nungwi Beach.

Day 10Nungwi(1B)

Enjoy free time to lounge on the beach, snorkel, scuba dive or tour the island.

Day 11Nungwi/Stone Town(1B)

Morning group transfer from Nungwi. Depart Stone Town any time after 11:30am.
