Itinerary

Day 1Istanbul

Arrive at any time. Arrival transfer included.

Day 2Istanbul(1B)

Enjoy a walking tour of Istanbul, including the Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, and Aya Sofya. The afternoon is at your leisure.

Day 3Istanbul/Göreme(1B, 1D)

Flight to the capital city, Ankara. Tour the Museum of Anatolian Civilization, Ataturk’s Mausoleum, and the Roman Quarter.

Day 4Göreme(1B)

Excursion to the Göreme Open Air Museum, a complex of medieval cave churches. After, continue to Avanos for a visit, then enjoy a walk in one of the valleys. The evening is free for dinner with the option to enjoy a Turkish folk night - a multi-course meal followed by local entertainment.

Day 5Göreme/Selçuk(1B)

Flight to Selçuk and take a walking tour, including the remains of the Temple of Artemis, Isa Bey Mosque, and St John's Basilica.

Day 6Selçuk(1B)

Visit the ancient Roman town of Ephesus and the Ephesus Museum. Enjoy wine tasting in Sirence village.

Day 7Selçuk/Çanakkale(1B)

Travel to the ancient ruins of Troy and enjoy a guided tour. Overnight in the waterfront town of Canakkale.

Day 8Çanakkale/Istanbul(1B)

Take an excursion to Gallipoli, including visits to ANZAC cove, the war cemeteries, and Lone Pine. Continue to Istanbul for the night.
