Please Note: Due to monsoon season on the west coast, we will run an alternate itinerary to islands on the east coast from the end of April through the end of October. See itinerary details below and take note of time of year you're travelling.

Day 1Bangkok

Arrive at any time.

Day 2Bangkok/Kanchanaburi(1B, 1D)

Enjoy a klong boat tour of Bangkok including a visit to Wat Po. Travel to Kanchanaburi and head to your floating rafthouse accommodation. Enjoy free time to explore.

Day 3Kanchanaburi(1B)

Enjoy a day of sightseeing at Erawan Falls and the Bridge on the River Kwai.

Day 4Kanchanaburi/Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya(1B)

Travel 2 hrs to Ayutthaya and visit the historical sites of the old capital city. Opt to visit Chan Kasem National Museum and Chao Sam Phraya Museum.

Day 5Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya/Chiang Mai(1B)

Spend a full day exploring Ayutthaya before boarding an overnight train to Chiang Mai.

Day 6Chiang Mai

Arrive in Chiang Mai and explore the city. Visit Doi Suthep in the afternoon.

Day 7Chiang Mai/Ban Mae Chok(1B, 1L, 1D)

Depart from Chiang Mai and head for the remote villages of Northern Thailand.

Day 8Ban Mae Chok/Ban Pa Khao Lam(1B, 1L, 1D)

Trek for 3-4 hours after breakfast through rice and vegetable fields. After lunch continue on for 1-2 more hours to a Karen tribe's village.

Day 9Ban Pa Khao Lam/Ban Muang Kut(1B, 1L, 1D)

Board a bamboo raft for an leisurely ride along the Mae Tang River. Meet some local Lahu people before heading to the Shan village for lunch.

Day 10Ban Muang Kut/Chiang Mai(1B, 1L)

After breakfast, leave the hilltribe villages behind and head back to Chiang Mai with free time in the afternoon to explore.

Day 11Chiang Mai/Bangkok(1B)

Enjoy another free day in Chiang Mai to experience more of this fun city before an overnight train to Bangkok.

Day 12Bangkok

Return to the Kingdom's bustling capital. Opt to visit any sights you missed, including ornate temples, interesting museums, and fabulous shops.

Day 13Bangkok/Ko Samui(1B)

Catch a flight to the tropical island of Koh Samui. Relax on the beach or visit the bustling little town.

Day 14Ko Samui(1B)

Relax on the beach or visit the bustling little town. Opt for a snorkelling trip in Ang Thong Marine Park.

Day 15Ko Samui/Ko Pha Ngan(1B)

Take a ferry to nearby Koh Pha Ngan, with time to explore the island's waterfalls, swim in lagoons, hike, or relax. If it's the right time, opt to take part in the island's famous Full Moon Party.

Day 16Ko Pha Ngan(1B)

Enjoy free time to make the most of Koh Phangan.

Day 17Ko Pha Ngan/Ko Tao(1B)

Travel by ferry to Koh Tao, a haven for scuba diving and snorkelling. Enjoy an included snorkelling trip from Koh Tao through Koh Nang Yuan. Relax at one of the many beach bars in the evening.

Day 18Ko Tao(1B, 1L)

Enjoy a free day on the island.

Day 19Ko Tao/Bangkok(1B)

Head back to the mainland by ferry before an overnight train back to Bangkok.

Day 20Bangkok

Arrive at Bangkok station in the morning. Trip ends on arrival. Onward travel can be booked after 16:00.

After a short flight to Krabi, head to a homestay on Koh Klang. Visit a local government-supported project to help build local communities, then relax and soak in the southern Thai culture.

Day 14Ko Klang/Krabi(1B)

Travel by private boat to Ao Nang beach. From here, opt to sunbathe, kayak, snorkel, or dive. In the evening, enjoy the bars and restaurants in the area.

Day 15Krabi(1B, 1L)

Spend the day in Krabi, exploring all the area has to offer.

Day 16Krabi/Railay Beach(1B)

Stay one night in a guesthouse on Railay Beach. This area boasts plenty of activities such as sea kayaking, diving, snorkelling, jungle trekking, cooking, whitewater rafting and quad biking. Feel free to lounge on the beach, too.

Day 17Railay Beach/Koh Lanta(1B)

Travel to Koh Lanta. Enjoy two days on one of the more tranquil beaches in the area. Opt to relax, snorkel or explore.

Day 18Koh Lanta(1B)

Spend the day on Koh Lanta. Opt for a day trip to nearby to Koh Rok.

Day 19Koh Lanta/Krabi(1B)

After a lazy beach morning, transfer to the train station for an overnight train to Bangkok.

Day 20Bangkok

Arrive at Bangkok station in the morning. Trip ends on arrival. Onward travel can be booked after 15:00.
