Journey into a land that time forgot and conquer the pre-Cambrian tabletop summit of Roraima. The stunning mountain is sacred to the region's indigenous people and is said to have inspired Arthur Conan Doyle’s "The Lost World." Take time to explore the unique flora and fauna – some of which is completely unique to the mountain. The trek itself takes six days start to finish but this two-week adventure also includes canoe trips in Canaima National Park and a thrilling trek to Angel Falls. If you're fit and want to get off the beaten track, this adventure will take you to new heights.

Day 1Caracas

Arrive at any time.

Day 2Caracas/Ciudad Bolívar(1D)

Travel first to Ciudad Bolivar before boarding an overnight bus to Santa Elena.

Day 3Santa Elena de Uairén(1L)

Free time to relax or explore the city while preparing for the trek.

Day 4Santa Elena de Uairén/Kukenan(1B, 1L, 1D)

Transfer to Mount Roraima and begin the trek to the summit.

Day 5Kukenan/Mt Roraima(1B, 1L, 1D)

Continue trekking through the Gran Sabana to reach base camp.

Day 6Roraima Base Camp/Mt Roraima(1B, 1L, 1D)

Guided hike up the mountain with a full day and a half spent at the summit to appreciate the unique ecosystem and spectacular views into neighboring Brazil and Guyana.

Day 7Mt Roraima(1B, 1L, 1D)

Continue to explore the wonders of this remote landscape.

Day 8Mt Roraima/Paraitepuy(1B, 1L, 1D)

Continue trekking down from Roraima.

Day 9Paraitepuy/Santa Elena de Uairén(1B, 1L, 1D)

End the trek in Paraitepuy. Return to Santa Elena in the afternoon.

Day 10Santa Elena de Uairén/Ciudad Bolívar

Travel by bus to Ciudad Bolívar.

Day 11Ciudad Bolívar/Canaima National Park(1B, 1L, 1D)

Fly to Canaima National Park. Continue by boat and hike to the view point of Angel Falls before returning to a jungle lodge for a night in hammocks.

Day 12Canaima National Park(1B, 1L, 1D)

Our day in the area allows us time for maximum enjoyment on the beautiful river beaches and plentiful walking paths.

Day 13Canaima National Park/Ciudad Bolívar(1B)

Fly back to Ciudad Bolivar. Free afternoon or optional city tour.

Day 14Ciudad Bolívar/Caracas

Travel to Caracas by bus.

Day 15Caracas

Depart at any time.
