Travel to Playa Matapalo and prepare to volunteer with a sea turtle conservation project.

Days 3–7Playa Matapalo(1B, 1L, 1D)

Dive deep into wildlife conservation on five days volunteering with a sea turtle project. Work alongside local and international volunteers at the Playa Matapalo Sea Turtle Project .

Day 8Playa Matapalo/Monte Verde

Tickle your taste buds on a guided sugar cane and coffee tour en route to Monteverde.

Day 9Monte Verde

Check out the birds and forest on a guided tour of Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserve with free time to explore the area.

Day 10Monte Verde

Enjoy more free time in Monteverde. Try a canopy or zipline tour. Looking for a slower-paced activity? Visit a butterfly garden.

Day 11Monte Verde/La Fortuna

Spend the day travelling to the Arenal Volcano area, La Fortuna.
With tons of options there's no shortage of activities to try.

Days 12–13La Fortuna

Enjoy a full day free to enjoy optional activities in La Fortuna.

Day 14La Fortuna/San José

Head back to the capital for one final evening with the group.
