Itinerary Notes

This tour runs year round with slight variations in summer and winter. If you are travelling mid-June through October, you will be on the summer itinerary. If you are travelling from Nov 1 to mid-June, you will be follow the winter itinerary. Additionally, we may revert to the winter itinerary in the shoulder seasons in the event of inclement weather.

Day 1San Francisco

Arrive at any time.

Day 2San Francisco/Yosemite National Park

See some sights like Fisherman's Wharf and the Golden Gate Bridge on the way out of town. Drive to Yosemite National Park.

Day 3Yosemite National Park/Bishop

Hike (weather permitting) past Yosemite's waterfalls and amongst the giant sequoias while keeping a keen eye out for wildlife. In the summer, travel via the Tioga Pass.

Day 4Bishop/Las Vegas

Head to desolate Death Valley — the hottest, driest, and lowest spot in North America.

Day 5Las Vegas/Grand Canyon National Park(1D)

Travel to the Grand Canyon via Route 66. Take a short hike (weather permitting) along the rim of the Grand Canyon or opt for a helicopter tour. Sunset pizza dinner at the rim.

Day 6Grand Canyon National Park/Laughlin

Take a final morning at this world wonder before heading to Laughlin.

Day 7Laughlin/Los Angeles

Enjoy an orientation of Los Angeles. Drive along Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills before spending a night on the town.

Day 8Los Angeles

Depart at any time.

Visit desolate Death Valley — the hottest, driest, and lowest spot on the continent. Carry on to Las Vegas and explore the famous Vegas strip. Opt to take a limousine tour or try your luck at the slots.

Day 5Las Vegas/Grand Canyon National Park(1D)

Travel to the Grand Canyon via Route 66. Take a short hike (weather permitting) along the rim of the Grand Canyon or opt for a helicopter tour. Sunset pizza dinner at the rim.

Day 6Grand Canyon National Park/Laughlin
