Climb through the mountains of Phuket for amazing views and a unique perspective of a city that is quickly growing. Trek up to the top of Mount Nagakerd, where you will find a white jade marble-covered Buddha currently under construction. The 147-foot-tall Buddha is close to completion, but the beautiful panoramic views from the top over the mountain looking out onto the Andaman Sea will take your breath away.
Take the opportunity to ride an elephant through the jungle, riding over shallow streams and between large rubber trees. Being perched on the back of the elephant will give you a new perspective of the nature that is around you. It you want to explore the jungle more, head over the the Khao Phra Thaeo Wildlife Sanctuary, where you can learn more about the ecosystem, flora and fauna that are native to the area.
