Cape Point National Park Hike

Start at the northernmost point and continue all the way down to False Bay. Cape Point National Park is filled with varied wildlife. Many different kinds of birdlife, from sea birds to giant raptors wheeling overheard, can be easily seen. In the summer months (July- September) keep an eye out for southern right whales out to sea.

Take the five-minute cable car trip to the top of Table Mountain, 1,085m (3,562ft) above Cape Town, and explore the summit. The operation of the cable car is weather dependent. This activity is self-guided.

Please note that the cable car is closed every year for a 2 week period between July and August for annual maintenance.

Day 2Cape Town

Enjoy a full day in Cape Town with the option to visit Table Mountain. Choose to explore Cape Point or embark on a wine tour around Stellenbosch. In the evening, experience an authentic meal in a local home in a nearby township.

If you are interested in visiting Robben Island - you must book it directly with the museum on their website prior to travel: http://www.robben-island.org.za Due to high demand, it is common that this tour can be sold out over one month in advance.

Additionally, this activity requires passengers to hike down and up the Batoka Gorge (approx. 45 minutes each way) to access the river; an average level of fitness is required.
