Day 2-3 Cederberg/Gariep River (2B,2L,2D)
View dramatic Western Cape scenery and camp on a local farm. Opt to canoe on or jump into the Gariep River or just sit back and relax with a glass of local wine.
Day 4-6 Fish River Canyon/Namib Desert (3B,3L,3D)
Enjoy the sunset at Fish River Canyon. Climb up Dune 45 and visit Sesriem Canyon.
Day 7-9 Swakopmund/Damaraland (2B,2L,1D)
Meet our local friends and explore the back streets and local culture on a guided cultural walk through a township. Option to try sandboarding or even skydiving! Travel through beautiful desert landscapes.
Day 10-13 Etosha National Park/Waterberg Plateau Game Park/Windhoek (4B,3L,3D)
Game drives in our overland vehicle in Etosha National Park. Embark on a forest walk in Waterberg Plateau Game Park, or opt to take an open safari vehicle game drive.
Day 14-15 Kalahari/Maun (2B,2L,2D)
Visit the Kalahari desert, meet the local San Bushmen. Optional walk to learn survival skills from the locals.
Day 16 Okavango Delta (1B,1L,1D)
Enjoy a game walk, traditional mokoro (dug-out canoe) excursions and birding. Learn the ways of the bush from local polers and sing and dance around the campfire with them at night.
Day 17-18 Gweta/Chobe River (2B,2L,2D)
Camp under ancient baobab trees. Opt to embark on a wildlife viewing boat cruise on the Chobe River or a game drive in an open safari vehicle in Chobe National Park.
Day 19-21 Livingstone (3B,1L)
Ferry crossing into Zambia. Option to visit the mighty Victoria Falls, enjoy whitewater rafting, go on an elephant-back safari, fly over the falls and much more!
Day 22-23 Bulawayo (2B,2L,2D)
Option to visit Victoria Falls Town or the falls from the Zimbabwe side. Walk with rhinos and enjoy an open vehicle game drive in Matobo National Park.
Day 24-26 Greater Kruger Area/Kruger National Park (3B,3L,3D)
Game drives in our overland vehicle, then relax in a warm water spring pool. Taste local food and witness traditional dancing.
Day 27 Johannesburg (1B,1L)
Visit a community school project supported by Planterra and interact with the villagers.
