Day 1 Bangkok

Arrive at any time.

Day 2-3 Siem Reap/Angkor Wat (2B,1D)

Enjoy a delicious Khmer meal in a village outside of Siem Reap at a Planeterra project. Optional guided tour of Angkor Wat, Tonle Sap floating village, Angkor Museum.

Day 4-5 Phnom Penh (2B)

Orientation walk upon arrival. Option to visit Tuol Sleng and Choeung Ek (Killing Fields), Central Market, National Museum and Royal Palace.

Day 6-7 Sihanoukville (1B)

Optional snorkelling boat trip or swim and relax on the beach.

Day 8 Mekong Delta (1D)

Drive from Sihanoukville to Can Tho in Mekong Delta. Enjoy the unique cultural experience of overnighting at a local village homestay.

Day 9-10 Ho Chi Minh City (1B)

Opt to visit the colourful floating market in the morning before travelling to Ho Chi Minh City. Option to visit Cu Chi Tunnels, War Remants Museum and the Colonial Quarter or go shopping in Ben Thanh market. Overnight train to Nha Trang on Day 10.

Day 11-12 Nha Trang (1B)

Optional snorkelling boat trip, mud baths visit, motorbike tour of the area or relax by the beach. Overnight train to Hoi An on Day 12.

Day 13-14 Hoi An (1B)

Opt to take a cooking class, explore the My Son Ruins, ride a bike to the beach, experience a riverboat tour or visit the old town.

Day 15-16 Hue (2B)

Optional Citadel and Imperial Tombs tour, Perfume River boat trip or countryside motorbike tour. Overnight train to Hanoi.

Day 17 Halong Bay/Bai Chai Harbour (1L)

Visit Halong Bay for a seafood lunch cruise and visit a cave.

Day 18-19 Hanoi (2B)

Explore Hanoi with an orientation walk through the old quarter. Option to see Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, the Temple of Literature and the Hoa Lo Prison or shop in the Old Quarter.

Day 20 Vientiane (1B)

A short afternoon flight takes us to the capital city of Laos. Option to visit temples, the National Museum, That Luang or markets.

Day 21-22 Vang Vieng (1B)

Optional hiking, biking, caving, swimming.

Day 23-24 Luang Prabang (1B)

Witness the giving of alms to the Buddhist monks. Optional cooking school, elephant trek, bike rides, temple visits, Royal Palace Museum, Kuang Si Waterfall and Bear Rescue Centre, night markets.

Day 25 Mekong River (1B,1D)

Cruise the Mekong on a long houseboat before arriving to a village homestay for the night.

Day 26 Chiang Khong (1B,1L)

Mekong River travel day. Cross into Thailand.

Day 27-28 Chiang Mai

Opt to visit Doi Suthep or the Chiang Mai Zoo, catch a Thai boxing match or grab a bargain at the famous night markets. On Day 28, board an overnight train.

Day 29 Bangkok

Opt to visit Wat Po and the Grand Palace, buy any last minute souvenirs or enjoy a Thai massage.

Day 30 Bangkok (1B)

Depart at any time.
