The natural and man-made wonders of Petra and Wadi Rum have been drawing travellers here for ages, but the rough-hewn grandeur of Jordan has remained a secret known only to the boldest of thrill-seekers. Trek the rocky hills to isolated villages along the trails near Ajloun, hike down canyons towards the Dead Sea and discover the Dana Biosphere Reserve. Day 1 Amman

Arrive at any time.

Day 2 Ajloun (1B,1L,1D)

Travel to an undiscovered Jordan as we head north. Stop to visit the well-preserved Greco-Roman remains in Jerash before continuing to the Ajloun Nature Reserve for a day of trekking. Overnight in the Ajloun Reserve.

Day 3 Wadi Mujib/The Dead Sea (1B)

Hike, abseil, climb and walk through streams in Wadi Mujib before arriving at the Dead Sea.

Day 4 The Dead Sea (1B)

Head down from the desert and float in the Dead Sea.

Day 5 Dana Biosphere Reserve (1B,1D)

Wake up in the magical Dana Biosphere Reserve and trek through this impressive landscape.

Day 6 Petra (1B)

Trek through gorges and canyons from 'Little Petra' to the ruins of Petra.

Day 7 Petra/Wadi Rum (1B,1D)

Tour of Petra before continuing to Wadi Rum in the heart of Jordan's desert landscape. Continue by 4x4 to a desert camp and enjoy a traditional meal and learn more about the ancient Bedouin culture and history.

Day 8 Wadi Rum (1B)

Optional trek in the desert at Wadi Rum and enjoy an included camel ride.
