Day 1 Mexico City

Arrive at any time.

Day 2 Mexico City

Visit the Aztec ruins of Teotihuacán or explore bustling Mexico City. By night, witness a high-flying "lucha libra" (Mexican wrestling) match, or head out for night on the town.

Day 3 Puebla

See the city on an included orientation walk. Explore the walkable center on your own, viewing the city's famous hand-painted ceramics and tiles. Don't miss sampling the delicious Mole Poblano sauce.

Day 4-6 Oaxaca

Orientation walk around town. Option to travel to nearby artisan communities or visit the Zapotec ruins of Monte Albán. Night bus on Day 6.

Day 7-8 San Cristóbal de las Casas

Orientation walk around town. Option to visit nearby indigenous Mayan villages to see unique day-to-day life or journey to beautiful Sumidero Canyon for a relaxing boat ride.

Day 9-10 Palenque

Option to visit the ruins of Palenque, set deep in the jungle.

Day 11-12 Mérida

Orientation walk. Option to visit Mayan ruins of Uxmal or visit three nearby cenotes (underground pools) in the town of Cuzamá.

Day 13-14 Chichén Itzá/Playa del Carmen

Learn about the Maya on an included guided tour to the ruins of Chichén Itzá, then lounge on Mayan Riviera beaches.
