We pack as much excitement as possible in only eight days, including desert exploration, searching for a variety of wildlife, checking out petrified forests in Twyfelfontein, and going on a game drive in Etosha National Park. This trip is designed for parents and children to enjoy together. You will be travelling as part of a group of families with other children. The itinerary has been designed with the needs of the whole family in mind. We have given this trip a minimum age for this trip to allow you to be sure that you have the right trip for you and your family. Minimum age of 10 years for this trip. Please see the activities for any specific minimum age requirements.

Short orientation walk of Windhoek. Travel from Windhoek this morning to the clay pan of Sossusvlei. The world's largest sand dunes are here, up to 300 m (987 ft) high.
Scramble up these dunes to get a sense of the size of the Namib Desert and visit magnificent Sesriem Canyon. Travel through the Namib Desert to the historical town of Swakopmund. Along the way, stop at Walvis Bay, where flamingos come to feed.
On Day 4 there are a variety of optional activities available, including sandboarding, a dolphin cruise, skydiving, quad biking, and a Living Desert tour (age requirements may vary for activities).
On the way to Etosha, stop at a cheetah park. Here cheetahs roam in their natural environment, with the opportunity to get a good look at these incredible animals up close. Continue to Kamanjab for the night.
The journey to Etosha National Park takes a whole morning. Spend the evening in this stunning region after a beautiful drive through the desert. Enjoy game drives in our own vehicle. Keep an eye out for some of the 100+ species of animals, including Africa's Big Five.
Drive to Windhoek from Etosha this morning. Arrive in the afternoon, feel free to book onward travel anytime after 5:00pm.
