Walking forward
together

At G Adventures, travel is about connection — to people, cultures, communities and Country. As a global travel company born in Canada and operating across Australia, we recognise the responsibility we have to listen, learn and take meaningful action towards reconciliation with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the lands, waterways and skies across Australia. We recognise the strength, resilience, knowledge and storytelling traditions of the world's oldest continuing cultures and pay our respects to Elders past and present.

Our commitment to reconciliation

Walking forward together

We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the lands, waterways and skies across Australia.

We recognise the strength, resilience, knowledge and storytelling traditions of the world's oldest continuing cultures and pay our respects to Elders past and present.

At G Adventures, we believe travel can be a force for good; creating connection, understanding and positive impact. Through our Reconciliation Action Plan, we are committed to deepening our understanding of First Nations cultures and histories, creating culturally respectful experiences, supporting Indigenous-owned businesses and ensuring our teams, travellers and communities are part of a more equitable future.

We know reconciliation requires more than words. It requires listening, ongoing education, meaningful partnerships and a willingness to challenge ourselves to do better.

Our reconciliation journey

Our Reflect RAP marks an important step

As the first stage within the Reconciliation Australia RAP framework, a Reflect RAP is focused on laying strong foundations — deepening understanding, strengthening relationships and embedding meaningful commitments across our business.

Our reconciliation journey is one of continuous learning. Over the years, we have worked alongside First Nations-owned businesses, artists, storytellers, guides and community partners across Australia and beyond.

Stage 01

Reflect

Lay the foundations. Deepen understanding, strengthen relationships and embed meaningful commitments across the organisation.

We are here

Stage 02

Innovate

Begin implementing specific commitments, developing innovative strategies and engaging staff and stakeholders in reconciliation action.

Stage 03

Stretch

Demonstrate a clear commitment to reconciliation with ambitious, measurable targets and systemic change embedded into business practice.

About the artwork

Stories passed down through Country

"Painting is my way to pass stories down and keep the circle going around and around."

The artwork featured throughout our Reflect RAP was created by proud Yuwaalaraay/Gamilaraay artist Waraba Arts – Gordon 'Waraba' Lister.

Based in the Gladstone region of Queensland, Gordon's work is deeply inspired by the stories, traditions and teachings passed down through his family and community. His paintings feature traditional crosshatch, dots, diamonds and linework that reflect his connection to Country and culture.

We are honoured to feature Gordon's artwork as part of our RAP journey and acknowledge the cultural significance and storytelling embedded within his work.
