WHAT'S NEW - G Adventures has added to its 2010 lineup something for the 18-to 30-year-old contingent who have more adventurous spirit than money.
On the list are 80 offerings under the moniker of YOLO (You Only Live Once), aimed at young professionals and recent graduates who seek adventure, unique destinations, but more importantly a trip on their own terms. Options range from an eight-day Costa Rica trip to an 81-day Marrakech to Cairo adventure.
Local payments are now included in all of the prices listed. There are also options on many trips to upgrade to your own room and often you can opt for meals and activities to be included.
Here are a few samplings of the trips and costs:
-Eight-day Budget Costa Rica, $539. It includes exploring cities, beaches and volcanoes. Accommodation is basic at guesthouses or camping. Next departure date in March.
-Paris to Prague over 12 days, $1,949. An urban cultural excursion through the streets of Paris, Bruges, Amsterdam and Berlin before the final stop in beautifully bohemian Prague. Transportation is via bus and train.
