Depart Suchitoto in a private van headed for Cerro Verde National Park. Take a guided tour of the park in the afternoon to witness stunning views of the surrounding volcanoes and then settle into the permanent tented camp for dinner and the night.

Take a full day to relax or to explore the Cerro Verde area with a variety of optional activities, like climbing one of the nearby volcanoes, going birdwatching, or take a coffee tour in the nearby "Ruta de las Flores" region.

Go on a walk through the surrounding forest to learn about flora and fauna in the area, help harvest cassava, and join a cooking demo to make enyucados – a local speciality. In the afternoon, enjoy free time and opt to go mountain biking or fishing, or relax in the village and practice your Spanish.
