Meet your fellow travellers and CEO at a 9am briefing before heading out on an insider's tour of Cusco. Walk to the San Pedro market to experience the sights and smells and enjoy a fresh juice from one of the kiosks. Continue by private transfer up to the Cristo Blanco near the ruins of Sacsaywaman for panoramic views of the city. From here, walk down a trail to the narrow cobblestone streets of San Blas, lined with cafes and local art galleries. Pass through the main Plaza de Armas and finish at a typical 'picantería' for a local lunch. Spend the rest of the afternoon exploring, shopping or just enjoying the views from a cafe on the plaza.

Head down a nearby trail and stairs next to the ruins of Sacsayhuaman Inka temple and into the city. Continue winding through narrow cobblestone streets and arrive in the San Blas neighbourhood lined with cafes, art galleries and artisans shop. Venture over to the Plaza de Armas main square which offers park benches, green spaces, and beautiful colonial architecture.

Lookout over these colourful Andean mountains striped with maroon, turquoise, lavender, and gold. The sediment, elevation, and proximity to the ocean create a landscape that has to be seen to be believed. Get started early to drive around 3 hours approximately to the starting point of this challenging, yet rewarding full-day hike. Reaching 5,029m (16,500 ft) this 8 km hike is no walk in the park, but these unique mountains do not disappoint. The ascent takes approximately 1.5 hours.
